Epstein-Barr Virus–Positive Pleural Effusion

Abstract: EBV infection/reactivation can account for certain proportions of "idiopathic" PEs. Polymorphous lymphocytosis is the most common cytologic feature, but atypical features (in both lymphocytes and mesothelial cells) can be seen.
