Abstract:Metasurfaces are essentially two-dimensional equivalents of metamaterials. They are artificially engineered composite structures of constituent resonators embedded on a substrate that exhibit unconventional responses to electromagnetic waves at certain frequencies when the dielectric constant and magnetic permeability are simultaneously negative.
