ERG K + channels mediate a major component of action potential repolarization in lymphatic muscle

Abstract: Smooth muscle cells in the walls of collecting lymphatic vessels fire spontaneous action potentials (APs), which conduct rapidly over the muscle layer to initiate contractions that propel lymph.
