“…The d 33 and T 33 e /ε 0 of 70 °C-ACP were 9% higher than 20 °C-ACP, and 40% higher than DCP. Luo et al 46) of the same research team in another study confirmed that ACP with lower frequency of 0.01-1 Hz over ten cycles had higher saturated d 33 , T 33 e /ε 0 and k 33 , as well as lower dielectric loss tan δ and faster saturation speed for PMN-0.30PT SC (5 × 1.25 × 1.25 mm 3 ), with d 33 and T 33 e /ε 0 over 3000 pC/N and 10 000, respectively. In addition, the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM), CAS and our group collaborated on 0.15Pb(Yb 1/2 Nb 1/2 )O 3 -0.52PMN-0.33PT (PYbN-PMN-PT) ternary SCs grown using the TSSG method.…”

“…The alternating current poling (ACP) was intensively used recently due to its low cost, time saving, and high efficiency to improve the electromechanical properties of the composites and enhance the bandwidth and insertion loss of the transducers, making the ACP a potential and advantageous technology to improve the transducer performances. [75] In addition, ACP was also used to improve the transparency of piezoelectrics. It was possible to get extremely high optical transmittance or exceptionally high piezoelectric characteristics by doping appropriate RE elements into PMN-PT ceramics.…”

“…The thickness of the k 33 mode (5 mm) was much larger than that of the d 33 sample (0.6 mm), which indicates that the frequency has a relatively large impact on the different thickness samples. 28 Considering both the effect of the frequency on d 33 and k 33 , the optimal poling frequency was 15 Hz. Compared with PMN-PT crystals, the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of 0.66PIN-0.34PT crystals aer ACP are more dependent on frequency.…”

“…The previous work revealed that the piezoelectric performances of PMN-PT and PIN-PMN-PT crystals can be signicantly improved using low frequency ACP, 29,30 22 The ACP process can reduce the energy required for domain rotation, which makes domain rotation easy. 28 The poling cycle is the process of the reduction of the energy required for domain rotation. Compared with PMN-PT crystals, the PIN-PT crystal required more energy for domain rotation due to its higher coercive eld.…”
