Error analysis of a charge-balancing capacitive sensor interface with resistive reference

Abstract

This paper presents a detailed charge-balancing capacitive sensor interface based on resistor-capacitor (R-C) comparison. and time references can be utilized in the CS precision capacitance-to-digital conversion. precision references is not sufficient for the precision measurement. The comparison capacitance with the reference introduces add instability. As a result, the errors of the c degrade the performance of the CSI. For this r error analysis is performed to identify the erro impacts on the final measurement results. Ba budgets can be properly allocated acco requirements.
