Abstract:Estimating terminal reliability precisely is impractical in complex systems. As a result, lower and upper bounds for two-terminal reliability as well as estimation methods have been instated. Our method for determining the lower and upper bounds of a complex system's reliability employs a listed set of minimal paths and a listed set of minimal cuts. This paper's goal is to present a modern assessment of reliability bounds for binary coherent systems, as well as a comparison of various reliability bounds in ter… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
