Abstract:Genetic variability parameters were studied in 2879 germplasm accessions of rice for 11 quantitative traits. Moderate value of genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) and phenotypic coefficient variation (PCV) was observed for the traits, 100 seed weight, seedling height, L:B ratio, plant height, and number of effective tillers, whereas rest of the traits had low GCV and PCV values.
