The aim of this study was to evaluate the student's conception in reference to the teaching materials used for the practical assessment of the discipline of Human Anatomy. The study was quantitative and qualitative, exploratory and descriptive. The materials were industrialized synthetic anatomical models, models made of inexpensive material by students, human cadaveric material, photocopied images and software. The study included 97 students, who after analysis indicated cadaveric materials (35%) as the best educational tool to be applied for the practical assessments of Anatomy. The photocopied images (3%) were the material with which the students presented greater difficulty. The content analysis of the discursive questions showed 5 factors in learning Human Anatomy: little time per table; difficulty in identifying, locating and memorization of anatomical structures; the quality of material used; comparing these materials; and cadaveric material. The study proved to be relevant for the evolution of teaching quality, in addition to the cadaveric material as the best tool to be used in practical assessments of Human Anatomy. We suggest the use of this material the more frequent, in laboratories that have the same materials as analyzed here, because the corpse can never be substituted in teaching and learning of Anatomy.

ResumoEste estudo foi baseado em levantamento bibliográfico das principais metodologias de ensino utilizadas por docentes na área de Anatomia Humana, com o objetivo de facilitar a busca por metodologias de ensino para os docentes e, proporcionar um melhor processo de ensinoaprendizagem. Entre as metodologias encontradas, as mais utilizadas pelos docentes ainda são baseadas na exposição teórica do conteúdo, seguida por aula prática, esta, na maioria das vezes e quando possível, com o uso de cadáveres humanos. Diante da diminuição do número de doações de cadáveres, os métodos alternativos de ensino na anatomia tornam-se cada vez mais úteis, visto que a necessidade de corpos para estudo é maior do que a disponibilidade. Quando o acesso à cadáveres faz-se difícil, muitas instituições utilizam imagens (figuras de livros, atlas e obras de arte) para ensinar a morfologia do corpo humano. Outra opção bastante explorada é o uso de tecnologias (aplicativos, redes sociais, mesa digital, entre outros). As ferramentas tecnológicas atuam como estratégias de facilitar o ensino, permitindo uma prática pedagógica modernizada e mais conectada com os alunos.Outras metodologias foram identificadas, todas comprovadamente eficazes no ensino de Anatomia Humana. Palavras-chave: Anatomia Humana, Metodologia, Estratégias de Ensino AbstractThis study was based on a bibliographical survey of the main teaching methodologies used by teachers in Human Anatomy area, with the objective is facilitate the search for teaching methodologies for teachers and to provide a better teaching-learning process. Among the methodologies found, the most used by teachers are still based on theoretical content exposition, followed by practical classes, most of the time and when possible with the use of human cadavers. Faced with a decline in the number of cadaver donations, alternative methods of teaching anatomy become increasingly useful, since the need for bodies for study is greater than availability. When access to corpses becomes difficult, many institutions use images (figures from books, atlases and works of art) to teach the morphology of the human body. Another widely explored option is the use of technologies (applications, social networks, digital desk, among others). The technological tools act as strategies to facilitate teaching, allowing a pedagogical practice modernized and more connected with the students. ABSTRACT. The Human Anatomy is the study of human body structure and it has been related to the use of cadavers through the history. The aim of this research was to investigate the use of human cadavers in practical classes of human anatomy in Brazilian medical schools, and it was also made the identification of alternative methodologies and new technologies applied to the teaching of Anatomy. The research was conducted at the Faculdade Integral Diferencial from January to December of 2015. The population studied was composed by professors responsible for the Human Anatomy sector of the Brazilian medical faculties. It was addressed all the 242 medical colleges of the Brazil. It was obtained 81 answers. 96% of respondents reported make use of human corpses in its practical lessons of anatomy. It can be observed that 42% of the surveyed medical schools make use of only formaldehyde. 81% of faculties reported to face some difficulties to acquire human cadavers. 84% of medical schools make use of artificial models. 46% of faculties make use of diagnostic images. It can be concluded that human bodies, artificial models and new technologies are widely used in practical classes of anatomy in Brazil, since there is a difficulty to obtain cadavers.Keywords: formaldehyde, glycerin, dissection.Utilização de cadáveres humanos no ensino da anatomia humana nas faculdades de medicina do Brasil RESUMO. A anatomia humana é o estudo da estrutura do corpo humano e tem sido relacionada com a utilização de cadáveres durante a história. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar o uso de cadáveres humanos em aulas práticas de anatomia humana em escolas médicas brasileiras e foram identificadas metodologias alternativas e novas tecnologias aplicadas ao ensino de anatomia. A pesquisa foi conduzida na Faculdade Integral Diferencial, no período de janeiro a dezembro de 2015. A população estudada foi composta pelos professores responsáveis pelo setor de anatomia humana das faculdades médicas brasileiras. Foram abordadas todas as 242 faculdades de medicina do Brasil. Obtiveram-se 81 respostas. 96% dos entrevistados relataram fazer uso de cadáveres humanos em suas aulas práticas de anatomia. Observou-se que 42% das escolas médicas pesquisadas fazem uso apenas de formaldeído; 81% das faculdades relataram enfrentar dificuldades na obtenção de cadáveres humanos; 84% das escolas médicas fazem uso de modelos artificiais, 46% das faculdades fazem uso de imagens diagnósticas. Pode-se concluir que os cadáveres humanos, modelos artificiais e novas tecnologias são amplamente utilizados nas aulas práticas de anatomia no Brasil, uma vez que existe dificuldade para obter cadáveres humanos.Palavras-chave: formaldeído, glicerina, dissecação.
