This study aims to analyze the mathematical concepts contained in the making of Wau Bengkulu kites and the exploration of mathematical concepts. This research is descriptive qualitative with ethnographic approach. This research was conducted at a kite-making site located in Suka Raja Village, Kampung Melayu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. The research subjects were kite craftsmen in Bengkulu Province. Data collection methods used were observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques were carried out with qualitative analysis techniques, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The mathematical concepts contained in the making of this traditional game can be utilized to introduce and understand the concept of geometry through local culture. The making of Wau Bengkulu kite shows that there are mathematical concepts contained, namely the concepts of comparison, measurement, volume, folding symmetry and division point.

To explore the folklore of Tadulako Bulili as a literacy medium in learning the two-dimensional shape, a qualitative descriptive study was carried out with an ethnographic approach. Methods of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies were used to collect research data, which were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The subjects of this study were traditional leaders, 3rd-grade elementary school teachers, lecturers, and several students who lived in Sigi Regency. The findings show that Tadulako Bulili's folklore can be thematic contextual learning in two-dimensional material that supports Ausubel, Bruner, and Gagne's learning theory. The results found four fundamental mathematical activities: counting, locating, designing, and explaining. In addition, various two-dimensional shapes were found in the illustrations of objects in the story. The exploration results also provided knowledge and information on the mention of two-dimensional shapes in the Kaili language and replicas of objects that were thought to be found in the story. Folklore could also introduce students to the local wisdom of Central Sulawesi, such as traditional houses, traditional weapons, hunting and farming tools, and the stories themselves.

This study aims to determine the mathematical concepts contained in traditional batik motifs, the application of traditional batik in mathematics learning, and the effect of ethnomathematics traditional batik motifs on students' mathematical concepts understanding ability. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Research steps using Systematic Literature Review are formulating research questions, searching and selecting literature, analyzing qualitative findings, reviewing the literature used, and compiling SLR articles. Based on the PRISMA method selection, 34 articles became the literature in this study. The results of this study show that the mathematical concepts contained in traditional batik motifs include the concepts of plane shapes, solid shapes, points, lines and angles, relationships between lines, equivalence, congruence, symmetry, geometric transformations, number patterns, trigonometric functions, function graphs, equation of the straight line, tangent circles, Pythagoras theorem, and tessellation. The application of traditional batik in mathematics learning can be implemented using a contextual teaching and learning model. Ethnomathematics-based learning of traditional batik motifs can also improve students' mathematical concept understanding ability.
