Étude éxpérimentale de la Conductivité en Courant continu des Composés macromoléculaires

Abstract: SynopsisMeasurements of direct current conductivity variations with temperature carried out on high molecular weight compounds doped by gaseous substances indicate that the degree of doping of the material forming the test sample has to be held constant during the entire time of measurement. A device for conditioning the test sample is described which allows maintainance of the degree of hydration of a hydrophilic polymer at a constant value during variations of temperature. Results obtained by means of this d… Show more

“…Intensive research on PANi began in the mid-1980s when Josefowicz and coworkers discovered that the emeraldine salt form is highly conducting. 4,5 MacDiarmid and Heeger led the way in this effort, and their efforts culminated in the award of the Nobel Prize. Their Award Lectures summarize the remarkable properties and commercial potential of this unique polymer.…”

“…22 Carlsson et al performed a similar imine synthesis study using aliphatic amines and ketones and proposed a similar addition sequence and intermediate. 23 The optimized order of addition involved adding the aniline, tertiary base, TiCl 4 , and AQ in that order, indicating that a titanium/aniline intermediate is the reacting species. The proposed mechanism based on the data, shown in Scheme 3, involves a titanium imine intermediate, either the diimine or the monoimine; such compounds have been described in the literature.…”
