Abstract:Abstract. Thanks to their ability to probe deep into matter, neutrons can be very useful to investigate bulk material. This can be particularly useful to investigate in situ structural changes and/or reaction processes. Several examples are given to illustrate the possible applications of in situ neutron diffraction: crystallisation process of amorphous phase, investigation of structural or magnetic phases transitions and study of chemical reactions. Some examples of real time studies are also presented and th… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
