Evaluating Positron Emission Tomography Use in Differentiated Thyroid Cancer

Abstract: Background: Using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results-Medicare database, a substantial increase was found in the use of positron emission tomography (PET) scans after 2004 in differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) patients.
