Abstract:The study was conducted to evaluate the effects of improving sperm production with the use of Vietnamese deer antler velvet powder on a white rat, whose sperm count was decreased by valproic acid. The findings showed that using deer antler velvet powder at doses of 127.5 mg/kg/24 hrs, 255 mg/kg/24 hrs and 510 mg/kg/24 hrs for 6 weeks on the male rat having a low sperm count recovered the research parameters (serum testosterone levels, sperm quantity and quality, reproductive organs and testicular histology).
