Évaluation initiale d’un outil d’aide à la communication pour des personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson

Abstract

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most prevalent neurodegenerative disease in the world. Quality of life and social participation for people with PD are severely impacted. Because of non-motors symptoms as communication impairments, their speech intelligibility is worsened and as a consequence, their social relations are most often affected. In order to improve this situation, we have been worked on the development of communication aid for people with PD. Using a user-centered design approach, we have developed a first prototype. Before submit this prototype to the evaluation by people with PD, we performed an initial evaluation with asymptotic people to evaluate the protocol, procedures and usability problems.
