Evaluation Model and Method of Margin in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects for Complex Systems

Abstract: Margin is an important index in the control of Electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) and Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design for systems. How to define and verify the E3 margins of complex systems such as ships and airplanes is a difficult problem. A new method of system‐level E3 margin evaluation is proposed. Based on the theory of fault tree, the evaluation model of system‐level margin is constructed. The complex system function is transformed into the equipment and subsystem that affect the func… Show more

“…When the spectrum allocation is not appropriate, the RF transmitting/receiving equipment between the platforms may cause mutual interference. In other words, we commonly refer to this as the electromagnetic compatibility issue within the ship formation [3,4]. To ensure electromagnetic compatibility within the system, it is crucial to establish a behavioral model for radio frequency devices and predict their operational conditions under potential interference.…”

“…And equipment asset management is one of the most important aspects of enterprise fixed asset management. Equipment asset management is important for the sustainable and healthy development of manufacturing enterprises, not only the management process is closely related to multiple links, but also involves the participation of several departments, such as planning, economic management, manufacturing, and procurement [6,7]. Equipment asset management is a process management mode, which requires the tacit cooperation of relevant departments to achieve effective management.…”
