Abstract:The field experiment was conducted at Crop Research Farm during kharif season, in the Department of Agronomy, Naini Agriculture Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology And Sciences, Prayagraj Uttar Pradesh. The experiment comprised three varieties viz., Chakhao Poireiton (V1), Chakhao Amubi (V2) and Chakhao Angangba (V3); and three rates of nitrogen viz., 60 kg/ha (N1), 70 kg/ha (N2) and 80 kg/ha (N3).
