Abstract: Purpose: Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells are currently the leading hosts for biosimilar Immunoglobulin G (IgG) production in the biopharmaceutical industry. Most eukaryotic proteins are glycosylated, and charge variants affect both the in vivo and in vitro properties of monoclonal antibodies (mAb).
