Evaluation of muscle using electromyography in patients with Down syndrome undergoing hippotherapy

Abstract: RESUMOObjetivo. Verificar os efeitos da Equoterapia na ativação muscular da região vertebral e abdominal de pacientes com síndrome de Down (SD). Método. Participaram do estudo 11 praticantes subdivididos em grupos: Down (GD) e Controle (GC). Foram realizadas 27 sessões com duração de 30 minutos, e os registros eletromiográficos foram realizados nas seguintes sessões: 1ª, 10ª, 20ª e 27ª. Resultados.
