Evaluation of the economic feasibility of the introduction of plasma hardening technologies in the Far North enterprises

Abstract: The various technologies of plasma surface hardening of the crests of wheel pairs with regard to the conditions of the Far North are considered by the example of Norilsk enterprises. When considering economic issues the cost of repairing wheelsets were considered. The advantages and disadvantages of each method of plasma surface hardening are shown. Criteria for the economic feasibility of their implementation are established. It is shown that from the standpoint of hardening process cost of one wheel, it is p… Show more

“…The complex method of multifactorial evaluation of interacting factors in the process of metal leaching allows optimizing the parameters of the proposed technology and using the engineering forecasting method to realistically assess the prospects for leaching metals from substandard raw materials to obtain an ecological and economic effect. A rational combination of underground leaching and traditional technologies is achieved by taking into account the geological and mining conditions of deposits, the content of metals in ores, occupational safety, and other factors [16][17][18][19].…”

“…Otherwise, the result may be opposite of the expected events nature. In order to identify factors that have a significant impact on the enterprise safety, the software package that is based on the automation construction of the regression model process (ACRGP) (Konyuhov et al, 2019;Konyuhov et al, 2018) is used. The analysis of the obtained forecast values makes it possible for the company's managers to introduce an effective policy in the field of ensuring the company's functional safety.…”
