Evaluation of the Enhanced Invasive Pneumococcal Disease Surveillance System (eIPDSS) Pilot Project

Abstract: Background: Invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) causes significant morbidity in Canada, yet with routine surveillance, it is difficult to interpret current IPD trends in serotype distribution and antimicrobial resistance.
