Event-plane dependent di-hadron correlations with harmonic v subtraction in a hydrodynamic model

Abstract: In this work, a hydrodynamic study of the di-hadron azimuthal correlations for the Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV is carried out. The correlations are evaluated using the ZYAM method for the centrality windows as well as the transverse momentum range in accordance with the existing data. Event-plane dependence of the correlation is obtained after the subtraction of contributions from the most dominant harmonic coefficients. In particular, the contribution from the triangular flow, v 3 , is removed from the proper… Show more

“…In the same papers, we also calculated the trigger-angle (φ t ) dependence, which has been measured by STAR Collaboration [62] obtaining reasonable agreement (see figure 15). More quantitative studies, as well as discussions about possible mechanism of such behaviors have been achieved in [63][64][65][66][67] and will be described in detail in section 5.…”

“…Such an explanation also naturally describes some of the features observed in data analysis, which is less intuitive otherwise. The remainder of this section is dedicated to study the trigger-angle dependence [63][64][65]67], centrality dependence [66] of di-hadron correlation in Au + Au collisions, as well as the extracted model parameters [79] in comparison with the data.…”
