“…Nakamura and co-workers conducted pioneering studies on structural and conductive properties of LB films containing dmit with various central metals [20,[32][33][34][35][36]. Miura, Sugi, and co-workers conducted extensive research on conductive LB films of charge-transfer complexes containing dimt [19,21,[37][38][39][40][41][42].…”

“…In this case, however, the fabrication of structurally well defined LB films is difficult. It has been reported that some LB films composed of dimethylbis(tetradecyl)ammonium[M(dmit) 2 ] (T c < 3:9 K), 803 and C 60 doped with K (T c < 8:1 K) 804 and Rb (T c < 23 K) 805 exhibit superconductivity, which was detected by the AC complex magnetic susceptibility or low magnetic field microwave absorption measurements. However, both the structural disorder inherent to the LB films and the low-dimensional nature originating from the thin-layer structure severely prohibit the observation for the superconductivity by resistivity measurements.…”

“…Furthermore, the ac magnetic susceptibility measurement suggests that the 2C 14 -Au(dmit) 2 LB system has a superconducting phase below 4 K [8]. Macroscopic zero resistance has not been observed [9].…”

“…2(d)]. Figure 3 shows a typical behavior of complex magnetic susceptibility (χ' + iχ") of the 20-layered 2C 14 -Au(dmit) 2 LB films [8] measured by an ac mutual inductive method using a Hartshorn bridge [22]. A distinct diamagnetic transition of χ'(T) is seen at around 3.9 K. Furthermore, the diamagnetic transition of χ'(T) is associated with a small hump of χ"(T) suggesting current losses.…”
