Abstract:Evisceration and enucleation have been acceptable therapeutic modalities to treat not only severe ocular trauma but also various ocular conditions, such as intraocular tumors, endophthalmitis, and blind-painful-cosmetically disfiguring eyes, over the last two centuries.
