Evolutionary Perspective on Adolescence

Abstract: The evolutionary perspective, particularly as it pertains to behavioral sex differences, has been underappreciated in adolescent psychology. This perspective, embodied by ethology and evolutionary psychology, provides several advantages to scholars of adolescence.
