Ewing sarcoma in adults: Demystifying experience from a developing nation

Abstract: A total of 189 patients (male, 74%) were enrolled. The most common primary site of tumor was distal femur. 24% of patients presented with metastasis at first diagnosis. Among those with localized disease, 23 patients received neoadjuvant MAP regimen while 122 patients received adriamycin and cisplatin. Those in the MAP group had a 3-year survival rate of 35.7% compared with 47.3% in the adriamycin-cisplatin group, p ¼ 0.098.
