“…There can be a misalignment between declared intention and actual behavior, suggesting the existence of a gap between what consumers declare they will buy and what they actually do at the point of purchase (Auger & Devinney, ; Carrigan & Attalla, ). This discrepancy, known as the “intention–behavior gap” (Carrington et al, , ; J. Davies et al, ), has been recognized in different research areas of consumerism, such as sustainable consumption (Feldmann & Hamm, ; Moser, ; Vermeir & Verbeke, ), ethical consumption (Auger & Devinney, ; Carrington et al, ), recycling behaviors (Gamba & Oskamp, ), and green public procurement tenders (Francesco Testa, Grappio, Gusmerotti, Iraldo, & Frey, ).…”

“…When it comes to the literature on GPP implementation, there are different arguments related to organizational size. Michelsen and de Boer (2009) suggested a positive relationship between the level of GPP implementation and organizational size, while Testa, Grappio, Gusmerotti, Iraldo, and Frey (2015) did not find any support for a correlation between organizational size and the greenness of tenders. Our finding provides support for the existence of a relationship between organizational size and buyer behavior in considering environmental criteria.…”

“…Scientifi c and grey literature often deals with the measures, which really impact f green public contracts and contribute to sustainable development. Despite that fact, a lack of information, knowledge, skills and competences among public procurers still remains [3]. In the recent years an increasing number of scientifi c articles have been published on green public procurement issues [4].…”
