Abstract:Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are rare tumors associated with the overexpression of somatostatin receptors owing to their origin from neural crest cells. The somatostatin receptor-based molecular imaging of NETs with 68 Ga-DOTANOC is extensively used to diagnose primary and metastatic disease with high diagnostic accuracy.
