Abstract:Surplus sludge disposal and treatment are major issues in wastewater treatment plants. Discharge plasma oxidation is an effective approach for sludge dewatering and digestion. In this study, excess sludge disintegration by non-thermal discharge plasma coupled with thiosulfate (TSA) was investigated.
