Abstract:539.186The extended intersecting beam/optical spectroscopy method is used to study excitation of 5 S, 5 P, and 5 D levels of the iron atom by slow electrons. Eighty-five excitation cross sections have been measured for an energy of the exciting electrons equal to 50 eV. Ten optical excitation functions were recorded in the electron energy range 0-200 eV.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
