Abstract: We have designed, synthesized, and characterized a donor− acceptor triad, SPS-PPY-C 60 , that consists of a π-interacting phenothiazinelinked porphyrin as a donor and sensitizer and fullerene as an acceptor to seek charge separation upon photoexcitation.
