Exemple d’application du traitement de l’information dans les moyens de mesure des rayonnements auprès des installations nucléaires

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ L'utilisation des techniques numériques en radioprotection est en cours de géné ralisation; une application récente, présentée ici, en est la réalisation du tableau de contrôle des rayonnements (TCR) auH. JOFFRE medicine and industry. This TCR includes 120 measurement channels; its cen tral unit has 2 computers, 3 display screens, 2 fast printers, 1 plotting board and 1 disk. After a few months of operation, this units has proved its efficiency for monitoring purposes by supplying new information especially the instan taneous knowledge of air contamination levels from radioactive aerosols in the premises and in gaseous effluents. Information processing by two com puters and overdimensioned peripheral equipment seems to ensure good reliability. As compared to classical TCR, this new equipment presents excellent operational and reliability characteristics though it is less expensive.
