Existence and regularity results for semi‐linearized compressible 2D fluids with generalized diffusion

Abstract: We consider semi‐linearized compressible Navier–Stokes equations, in a two‐dimensional periodic domain, introducing in this scheme generalized diffusive terms. After rewriting the equations in terms of a potential flow for the velocity, we prove existence and regularity for a suitable class of weak solutions.
