Abstract:Ice accretion causes significant energy losses and safety risks across various sectors. Recent research shows that liquid‐like surfaces (LLS) with ice‐shedding properties can be created by covalently attaching linear polymer chains onto smooth substrates with sufficient hydroxyl group densities.
