Experience of development and operation of the IKI-Monitoring center for collective use of systems for archiving, processing and analyzing satellite data

Abstract

Предлагаемая статья посвящена описанию опыта эксплуатации и развития центра коллективного пользования системами архивации, обработки и анализа спутниковых данных ИКИ РАН (ЦКП «ИКИ-Мониторинг», http://ckp.geosmis.ru/). Рассматривается актуальность задачи обеспечения доступа к сверхбольшим распределённым архивам спутниковых данных на основе принципиально нового подхода, предоставляющего пользователям возможности для интерактивного анализа и обработки данных на базе использования высокопроизводительных вычислительных ресурсов центров предоставления спутниковой информации. Именно на базе этого подхода в 2012 г. был создан центр коллективного пользования ЦКП «ИКИ-Мониторинг». К настоящему моменту предоставляемыми центром ресурсами воспользовалось более 70 различных организаций. Возможности центра использовались при выполнении нескольких десятков научных проектов, поддерживаемых, в частности, РНФ, РФФИ и Министерством науки и образования Российской Федерации. Настоящая статья посвящена рассмотрению текущих возможностей ЦКП «ИКИ-Мониторинг» и накопленного опыта по его развитию и использованию. Особое внимание уделяется описанию новых технологий работы со спутниковыми данными, развитие которых во многом стимулировалось научными и прикладными проектами, выполняющимися с использованием возможностей центра. В заключение кратко представлены перспективные направления развития центра.

Development of the unit for testing the methods of remote computerized monitoring of environmental changes in the “IKI-Monitoring” center for collective use
