Experimental and Numerical Study of Reinforcement Strains in RC Ties

Abstract: The importance of interaction between concrete and reinforcement for reinforced concrete (RC) mechanics is a known issue, yet its complexity enforces one to perform in-depth investigations at the microscopic level.
