Experimental Presentation of Microwave Absorption due to Shaking of JV by AC Magnetic Field in Bi2212 and Bi2223

Abstract: The Josephson Vortex dynamics in high anisotropy superconductors Bi2212 and Bi2223 induced by AC magnetic field collinear to DC magnetic field and parallel to the layers is studied via their interaction with microwave field. Experimental results as function of DC magnetic field, AC magnetic field and temperature are presented. The AC induced microwave dissipation is larger than dissipation without AC field. The results are explained by the theoretical interpretation reported recently due to shaking by the AC f… Show more

“…The memory effect disappears when the temperature T t exceeded 35 K and 15 K in Bi2212 and Bi2223 respectively. The memory effect is explained using the hierarchical model for spin glasses [10]. (6) Irreversibility effect.…”

“…The angular dependence of the upper critical field at temperatures close to the critical temperature, T c0 , was investigated by non-resonant microwave absorption. This technique has only been applied so far to study the properties of bulk superconductors [57][58][59][60][61][62][63][64][65][66] . In most cases the Induced Microwave Dissipation by AC Magnetic Field (IMDACMF) technique has been used [61][62][63][64][65][66] , which we also apply for the measurements of the present work.…”

In most cases the Induced Microwave Dissipation by AC Magnetic Field (IMDACMF) technique has been used [61][62][63][64][65][66] , which we also apply for the measurements of the present work. Sketches of the experimental set up, including the relative orientation of the high frequency (HF) microwave field, the static (DC) magnetic field and the modulating (AC) magnetic field applied, are given by Shaltiel et al [62][63][64][65][66] .…”
