Experimental Research on Two-step Cooling Mechanism of the Oxide Film of ELID Grinding Wheel

Abstract: Abstract. This paper conducts theoretical analysis on the presence of absorbed water and lattice water in the oxide film of ELID grinding wheel, carries out experimental study by applying X-ray (XRD) diffractometer, infrared spectrometer, and thermal gravimetric analyzer TG-DSC, and further proposes the two-step cooling mechanism of the absorbed water and lattice water in the oxide film of ELID grinding wheel.
