Abstract:Summary: A decreased general toxicity and a distinct increased skin compatibility with fully maintained antimycetic effectiveness can be reached by transformation of the antimycetically active agent 5‐bromsalicyl‐4′‐chloranilide (BSCA) to the reversibly inactive carrier form 5‐bromsalicyl‐4′‐chloranilide‐O‐ß‐D‐xylopgranoside (ZIK 1392).
