“…Snowball sampling is a method used to locate populations that are hidden or challenging to reach out to (Johnson, 2014). Given the sensitive nature of divorce where there is a certain social taboo around the subject (Jane Zhang, 2020), snowball sampling was a pivotal sampling tool to reach out to adult children of divorce for the purposes of the study and to obtain an even larger sample size (Gross et al, 2021).
