“…On the other hand, due to the wide diversity of the level of professional development and research capacity of nursing professionals in Spain, especially in occupational nursing, attributes such as experience and recent practice, a willingness to take part in research and academic level have also been considered positive requirements when selecting the group of experts (Hung, Altschuld, & Lee, 2008;López-Gómez, 2018). Similarly, for validation studies in nursing and, in particular, for similar research presenting validations of ODs, specialized nursing qualifications, a degree in medicine, years of experience, and the use of the nursing taxonomy were considered a plus (Avena et al, 2014;Quatrini Carvalho Passos Guimarães, Pena, Lopes, Lopes, & Bottura Leite de Barros, 2016). Apart from these essential requirements, other criteria considered in this study included the use of computer systems containing nursing terminology and scientific production, as measured in scientific papers, talks and articles published in recent years, which at the research group's discretion, could help to define a more suitable profile for an expert able to assess the ODs as defined by the aims of the study.…”
