The ever-expanding landscape of devices and platforms creates a complex challenge for ensuring exceptional user experience (UX) in modern software development. Agile methodologies, with their core principles of rapid iteration and responsiveness to change, offer a promising approach to navigating this dynamic environment. However, integrating user research and evaluation techniques, crucial for a user-centric approach, can be difficult within the fast-paced cycles of agile development. This research addresses this gap by exploring strategies for seamlessly integrating user research activities into agile workflows. Reviewing existing literature, the authors identify and analyse user research and evaluation techniques well-suited for the Agile framework. This framework serves as a roadmap for organisations seeking to leverage the benefits of agile methodologies while ensuring a user-centric approach that delivers exceptional UX across diverse platforms. Ultimately, the research aims to bridge the gap between agile development and user-centred design.
