Abstract:We present a systematic study of the global polarization of Λ and Λ¯ hyperons in Au+Au collisions at sNN=19.6 GeV using the viscous hydrodynamic model CCNU-LBNL-Viscous hydrodynamic model (CLVisc) with a modified 3D optical Glauber model initial condition. The global polarization splitting as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity is investigated. It is shown that the magnitude of the net baryon density and its longitudinal titled geometry at the initial stage both have significant effects on the globa… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
