Abstract:We numerically compute the inclusive photon production in p + p collisions within the Color Glass Condensate framework as determined through the valence qg → qγ leadingorder channel and the gg → qqγ next-to-leading-order channel, respectively. We find the gg → qqγ channel accounts for more than 90% of the cross section at the center of mass energies of √ s = 7 TeV and 13 TeV. The obtained numerical results compare well with the ATLAS and CMS p + p data for inclusive isolated photon production within the region… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
