Abstract:Exploring Brevibacterium strains from various ecosystems may lead to the discovery of new antibiotic-producing strains. Brevibacterium sp. H-BE7, a strain isolated from marine sediments from Northern Patagonia, Chile, exhibited antimicrobial activity against Salmonella enterica and Listeria monocytogenes.
