Exploring the Pathogenesis of Pulmonary Metastasis of Colorectal Cancer based on “the Lung and the Large Intestine are in Close Proximity”

Abstract

Lung is the second major metastatic site of colorectal cancer, and it is of great significance to discuss the pathogenesis of lung metastasis of colorectal cancer for its prevention and prognosis. In this paper, we explain the TCM pathogenesis of lung metastasis of colorectal cancer based on the theory of "lung and large intestine are in phase with each other" and the research of TCM, and believe that qi elevation is the driving force of transmission, fluid metabolism is the pathological basis, meridians and channels are the basic pathways, and the theory of yin and yang five elements is the philosophical basis.
