Abstract:In this paper the exponentiated generalized xgamma distribution is introduced. Some of its properties are presented through some models of stress–strength, moments, mean residual life, mean past lifetime, and order statistics. The maximum likelihood estimators, confidence intervals for the parameters, and the reliability and the hazard rate functions of the exponentiated generalized xgamma distribution based on dual generalized order statistics are obtained. Bayesian estimators for the unknown parameters, reli… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
