Abstract: N-Acetyl-(R)-β-phenylalanine acylase is an enzyme that hydrolyzes the amide bond of N-acetyl-(R)-β-phenylalanine to produce enantiopure (R)-β-phenylalanine. In previous studies, Burkholderia sp. AJ110349 and Variovorax sp.
