Abstract:Sigma factor B (SigB), an alternative sigma factor (ASF) is very similar to primary sigma factor SigA (σ70) but dispensable for growth in both Mycobacterium smegmatis (Msmeg) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb).
