Abstract:Background & Objectives: Retroperitoneal sarcomas are often advanced at presentation. Surgery remains the only available curative management. The extent of surgical resection is debatable. There is a strong cause for compartmental resection of the whole hemi-retroperitoneum, but high-level evidence is lacking.
