Abstract:In India, ascariasis is highly endemic, especially in paediatric population. Ascaris usually lives in the duodenum but wanders through the orifices, ducts and cavities to reach common bile duct, liver and pancreas, thereby leading to a plethora of clinical presentations. Fulminant hepatobiliary infestation is rare and infrequently reported.
